Healthy eating involves eating regularly throughout the day, from a wide variety of the 5 food groups. It is important to eat well in pregnancy to ensure that you are meeting your own and your baby’s nutritional needs. Following serve sizes and recommendations will help you meet those needs and help prevent overeating. Eating for 2 in pregnancy is not necessary and is not helpful to you or your baby.
